Rad se bavi pojmom „Kraljevina Srbija“, vremenom i kontekstom u kojima se termin javlja. Političke i dinastičke aspiracije vladarske kuće Habzburga na teritoriji srpske srednjevekovne države i pravoslavno stanovništvo sagledane su u svetlu austrijsko-turskih ratova sa kraja XVII i početka XVIII veka. U radu se ukazuje na moguće izvore i aktere barokne istoriografije koji učestvuju u stvaranju koncepta i daju kartografski i heraldički primer za ilustrovanje geneze pojma „Kraljevina Srbija“.

Summary:
Тhе term "Кingdom of Serbla" appeared for the first time after the unsuccessful siege of Vienna in 1683. It was during the campaign against Turkey, when territories of South-Eastern Europe and the Balkans were seized bу Austria-Hungary. In the new political context at the end of the 17^th century, the term overgrows dynastic propaganda fiction, and refers to real geographical territory (understood in very broad terms). Тhе name "The Кingdom of Serbla" appears regularly in chronicles and court histories, on maps and engravings as Austria-Hungarian ambltions for expansion to south-east and for war with Тurkey were developed. After signing the treaty of Passarowitz in 1718, the name appeared in the official documents that were related to Serbla of that time. "The Кingdom of Serbia" represents ideological creation that evolved from baroque historiography into its connection with specific territorial reality. It was invented and conducted bу Viennese court according to its political and dynastic interests. Their claims on the West Balkan lands, the Нabsburgs based on war successes and supported them bу complex historical and juridical arguments.
