Performance An Attempt to Describe a Working Day, inspired by the poetry of Jacques Prévert

04 Description (not exceeding 50 words):

The performance is conceived as a museum walk through the class differences of a city environment described in the selected Jacques Prévert’s poetry, where each exhibit, i.e. scene represents the city’s everyday life whose atmosphere is conjured up by more than eighty actors, students, amateurs and children. It is realised in the space of the old sugar factory in part of which the KPGT Theatre is located.

07 Biography (not exceeding 100 words):

Nikola Isaković (1991) was born and lives in Belgrade. He graduated from the New Academy of Arts in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Ljubiša Ristić, the Department of Drama Arts – Directing, in 2018. His student production (Non)Working Hours was performed as part of accompanying programmes of a number of theatre festivals in Serbia, among which the most important are Pozorje of the Young and Bitef Polyphony. He also worked as an assistant director of the performances Regime of Love, Creation of Man and Departure Terminal. In his theatre work, he is often engaged in researching various forms of ambient, immersive and interactive theatre, which is most frequently reflected in the very selection of specific spaces and forms for his performances.
