The permanent exhibition of the Museum of Applied Art presents art objects from the museum’s collections (Jewelry and Metals; Furniture; Textiles and Costumes; Ceramics, Glass and Porcelain; Photographs, Applied Graphics and Artistic Book Processing; Contemporary Applied Arts and Design and Architecture, Urban Planning and Architectural Design). The redefined concept of the exhibition focuses on the combination of historical and contemporary aspects, so that in addition to historical rarities, there are also examples of contemporary creation of applied art from the collections.
An important part of the concept and an integral part of the exhibition is the “Object of the Month” project, in which the public is presented with a selected artwork from the acquisitions in the previous 10 years or an artwork that cannot be exhibited for a longer period due to its features.
