Presentation of the wall paintings production process
Wall paintings production process from a sketch to the execution in material; representation of techniques used in monumental painting; relations between the medieval and the contemporary; themes and motives.
Participants: Students of the Faculty of Applied Arts, Wall Paintings Departments.
Tutoring professor: Nikola Božović, assistant professor.

Dress a Royal
Theme: Learning about the Serbian medieval royal clothes, motives and designs applied to garments by solving the following tasks:
- A pre-prepared ornament models displayed at the exhibition should be painted on a paper or textile ground and the ornament should be connected to the clothes.
- During the exhibition medieval fashion costumes will be made after the composition images of Serbian royal patrons. Children would wear these costumes while visiting the exhibition which should help them better understand the historical period.
Workshop is designed for children 6 to 12 years of age.
The workshop is aimed at pre-school institutions and primary schools.
Duration of the event: 60 minutes.

Little Copyists
Theme: Parts of exhibition ornaments and compositions would be projected on the wall canvas and by painting the chosen segment projected children will try themselves as copyists.
Workshop is designed for children 4 to 10 years of age.
The workshop is aimed at pre-school institutions and primary schools.

Ornaments in Time and Space
Theme: Learning about the concept of an ornament through historical periods, from the Middle Ages until the present; ornaments used to sacral and secular ends. Ornaments applied to clothes, royal garments, jewellery, footwear, belts and wood carved items. Interpretation of ornaments on church fresco paintings and its application in everyday life in the Middle Ages.
