During the exhibition that marks 50th year since the Collection of Children’s Art was organized for the first time, we will present 150 selected works. Most of them are created individually, but there is also one segment of the collection that includes children’s collaborative work, which is the highlight of this collection. All the art pieces or most of them are created under the supervision of visual art educators.
The authenticity of children’s artwork was the most important criteria in order to select and award best accomplishments. Every visual arts educator developed their own methods of how to present techniques and different Medias that are part of traditional Visual Arts, as well as the innovations that appear in contemporary artistic creation, according to his proper sensibility and school syllabus.
An outstanding and ongoing cooperation with Visual Arts educators in schools, with most of them who are Academic Painters, Sculptors and Visual Artists, broaden the horizons and included the large population of young people who implemented this noble artistic experience into the age of adults, keeping the sparkle of creativity for the life and further creative challenges.
