Freedom Landscapes

Freedom Landscapes is an artistic-political journey through the landscapes of anti-fascist and communist memories – a poetic and affective contribution to the struggle against erasing these memories from the European history. Diaries and interviews of women Partisans and Communists represent the starting point of this feminist landscape performance in which audience creates ‘shared views’ on Fascism today through a Cubist approach to space-time.

07 Biography (not exceeding 100 words):
Marta Popivoda is a filmmaker, video artist and researcher. Her works have been exhibited in the galleries such as Tate Modern in London and MoMA in New York. She received Berlin Art Prize (AdK) for visual arts. Ana Vujanović holds PhD Degree in Humanities – Theatre Studies, and she is a researcher, writer, dramaturg and lecturer, focused on bringing together critical theory and contemporary art. She is a mentor at the School for New Dance Development – SNDO in Amsterdam. She published a number of articles and four books, most recently Public Sphere by Performance (with B. Cvejić). The authors foster their collaborative practices in art and research, among other things, through the activities in the editorial collective ThK-Walking Theory. They often collaborate in the production of films, video installations and performances.
