Theme: “Self-supported CD Stand”
From last year the international public is being offered opportunity to view the creative achievements of “Wood Art” students and their European peers. Creations of young designers were represented at the prestigious design manifestations such as the Furniture Fair in Milan, i.e. Milan Design Week and at the recently held Fair of Industrial Design in Madrid. Right after they unpacked their suitcases having returned from the Pyreneans and still under the impression of the recent exhibition, the students began to prepare their works for the “Dizajn igralište – Design Playground”.
This year the “Design Playground” will represent creative achievements of the students of the Design School from Belgrade, Roth Gyula Gyakolo szakkozepisola es kollegium from Sopron (Hungary), IPSIA Brugnera from Brugnera (Italy), Nacionalna gimnaziя za priložni izkustva „Trevnenska škola“ from Travna (Bulgaria) and of the host “Wood Art” School from Belgrade.
From the very beginning the Secretariat for Education of the City of Belgrade and Stari Grad municipality recognized the significance of this initiative of the “Wood Art” School by supporting it financially, while the Museum of Applied Art provides its support by generously offering its exhibition space.
