DIPLOMA 2009

Exhibition of works of the fifth year students at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade

09 - 31 July 2009

Exhibition coordinator: Angelina Folgić Korjak
Some hundred students of the final year at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade will represent their best works at the exhibition Diploma 2009 in the Museum of Applied Art.

All ten specialised departments will be represented at the exhibition as well as eight ateliers of the Faculty of Applied Arts – Wall Painting, Applied Sculpting, Interior Architecture, Applied Graphics (Graphics of Books; Graphic Design, Photography), Set Design, Costume (Contemporary Clothing, Theatrical Costume), Textile, Ceramics, Industrial Design, Conservation and Restoration (Conservation and restoration of paintings; Conservation and restoration of sculptures; Conservation and restoration of paper art works).

Already a traditional event, the Diploma exhibition will again prove that students are not only passive receivers of knowledge but also creative individuals. They harbour huge amounts of energy and transpose their skills into works only part of which will be represented in the MAA exhibition. Numerous rewards won during their student years are only an additional proof how well-designed and high quality programmes of studies in different domains of visual and applied arts are offered to students at this high professional and educative institution.
