Larisa Ackov, The Opposite World
Larisa Ackov, a ceramist, is one of the most recognizable artists who create works in this media and winner of the Grand Prix at the 13th Triennial of Ceramics in 2009. Her artistic sincerity allows her to both accept and deny the very essence of her creativity. In the same time, the artist does not hesitate to offer to our view the essence fully identifying her inner worlds with those offered to the eye of the viewer. Thus wrapping the essence in an adequate form, dressing the non-object, became her task, setting up of the equation the result of which would be a work of art.
