Recalling the establishment of the Salon of Architecture (1974) by several active architectural organizations gathering to showcase architectural solutions, the Museum of Applied Art nurtures the tradition of cooperation between the public and private sectors with the aim of a more comprehensive presence in observing the architectural design of space.

In this regard, the exhibition criteria are established thematically every year. With the aim of continuity, the 45^th Salon of Architecture / Salon of Dialogue invites the exchange of experiences, reflections and practices in all fields of architectural activity. The authors of the concept are Council members Biljana Jotić, art historian and curator, MAA director; Relja Petrović, architect, MAA curator; Predrag Milutinović, architect; Danilo Dangubić, architect and Milka Gnjato, architect.

The international jury of the 45^th Salon of Architecture are Prof. Werner Sobek, PhD, architect, engineer, researcher and writer; jury president Ljiljana Blagojević, PhD, architect; Aleksandar Zeljić, architect, AIA, NCARB, LEED BD+C, studio and design director – Gensler, Chicago; Prof. Dubravka Djukanović, PhD, architect and director of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Serbia; Marijana Radović, architect, М2 ATELIER studio, Milano; Marija Maruna, PhD, full professor at the Faculty of Architecture, winner of the 44^th Grand Prix of the Salon of Architecture; and Ljubica Arsić, architect, winner of the 44^th Grand Prix of the Salon of Architecture.

The exhibition setting is of a show character, and the meaningful program concept is composed of a series of lectures and panels that vividly follow the dialogue concept. In addition to the prestigious Grand Prix award, the jury will award prizes and commendations by category. The novelty of the 45^th Salon of Architecture conference is the establishment of the Public Award for the purpose of involving the civic community, as well as the Recognition awarded by the Council for a project performed beyond categories.
