Vladimir Bačlija, art photographer, is giving a retrospective exhibition on the occasion of 40th Anniversary of his artwork, titled Dedaizam. The exhibition features 40 photographs (life, ballet, fashion, still life… ). Actually, this is the first one-man show of this very fruitful, respected and awarded artist.

Bačlija got his first real instructions, lessons, and guidance in art photography in Vecernje novosti (Evening Gazette), with editor Branko Bosić. He is the founder of the first Yugoslav privately owned fashion magazine “Moda” (“Fashion”), together with Gradimir Buđevac. As a freelance artist, he was a longstanding contributor to newspapers “Borba”, “Delo”, and he also collaborated with the marketing agencies Spektra, New Moment, Saatchi@Saatchi, among others. He also cooperated with the most prominent graphic designers: Nenad Čonkić, Slobodan Mašić, Dobrilo Nikolić, Bata Knežević, Dušan Aranđelović…

The exhibition of the photography by Vladimir Bačlija Dedaizam is taking place in the context of the events that are promoting the Project of Belgrade’s candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2020.
