The seventh Exhibition of the TISO (Textile and Contemporary Costume Section) of the ULUPUDS (Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia), which has been taking place for twenty-eight years now, will be staged at the Museum of Applied Art. This exhibition encompasses the Textile and Contemporary Costume Section members’ most significant achievements in the field of fashion, textile and accessories. The exhibition rules require that the competing works should be created in the previous four years. The Section Council has selected 45 designers who will present themselves with about 70 works.
The exhibition participants will be the exhibitors of all generations, of various aesthetic and artistic sensibilities, as well as different artistic concepts. They will present their creative achievements in the field of fashion, textile and accessories. The selected exhibits exude the authenticity of ideas, individuality and personal touch of each individual exhibitor.
The Grand Prize and awards in all three categories: textile, fashion and accessories, will be presented at the opening ceremony by the Award Jury, composed of Prof. Leonora Vekić, textile artist, Jelena Đorđević, Atelje 61 curator and art historian, and Milica Cukić, MA, museum curator and art historian.
