The exhibition will feature 25 award-winning photos by authors from India and an equal number of works by authors from Serbia, done with the idea of bringing closer the two countries and their cultures. The author of the best photo from Serbia won the main prize and a trip to India, which he visited the last month. The author of the best work from India will stay in Serbia during the next summer and will have an opportunity to attend the Exit music festival, together with the other finalists of the contest. A ten-member jury included five eminent photographers from India and five from Serbia. More than 1500 photos were submitted for the contest.
Awarded work from Serbia is by Zoltan Bisak, and Samir Basu is the winer for his photograph from India.
Along with the contest winners, the audience at the opening ceremony will be addressed by Her Excellency the Ambassador of India, Ms Narinder Chauhan; the Director of the Museum of Applied Art, Ms Ljiljana Miletić Abramović, and representatives of the Exit Foundation. The inauguration cocktail, accompanied with demonstrations of traditional Indian dance and Yoga, will be organized for guests.
